Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations, wants the International debate about climate to embrace a “new way of thinking”.

Instead of focusing on the responsibilities for past emissions, he urges industrialized and developing countries alike to concentrate on limiting future emissions.

Mr. Ban hopes to help reach a consensus on what actions should be taken, by convening a climate summit.
