NewsEfforts Starting To Help Asia And Africa Cope With Climate Change

On the heels of the FAO’s recent announcement that food supplies may be threatened by climate change the Rockefeller Foundation has pledged $70 million over the next five years to help mitigate the effects of climate change in Asia and Africa.
While the foundation acknowledges the importance of preventing greenhouse gas emission, officials point out that adapting to a changing climate will be needed for decades to come, regardless of what happens to emissions.
